Location: Aracena, Huelva

Sierra de Aracena is Natural Park in Andalusia has got a high ecological value, with The sierra is covered with hundreds years old trees like evergreen oaks, cork oaks, gall-oaks, and chestnut trees.

The black hairless pigs live on these mountains, eating the acorns called “Bellotas“ that fall from these old trees. They also eat grasses and mushrooms that grow around the trees, small mammals and reptiles, snails, slugs, and all kinds of insects that live in the park.

The pigs' way of live produces a special meat with excellent natural aroma and taste. This system is called Montanera.

Living free in the mountains give them balanced exercises, cause infiltration of fat into their muscles.
